The EU Health Programme outlines a strategy for good health and health care. It is part of the Europe 2020

Good practice 2 – Amnesty International

Amnesty International is an international non-governmental organization which aims to prevent human
rights violations through all peaceful civic actions - from writing letters to governments of countries that
violate these rights, through publishing information about such violations, to real financial and legal assis-
        tance to those affected.

The organisation is a 1977 Nobel Peace Prize winner for its “contribution to strengthening the foundations
of freedom, justice and thus peace around the world”.
