3.5 Example of best practice: Wood Cascading
The most famous example of cascading is wood.
Also, a large number of best practices are available on cascading wood. For instance, publication of the EC:
Guidance on cascading use of biomass with selected good practice examples on woody biomass (Director-
ate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (European Commission, 2019), or
best practices presented in the Wood2Good project, funded by the European Commission.
